Allergies and intolerances
Ask the outlet team for up-to-date allergen information before ordering; ingredients and cross-contact procedures vary by site. Do not rely on general category labels for individual products.
Food for families
Little Explorers Lunch Box, The Windmill and the resort’s other family restaurants offer options aimed at younger visitors. Confirm current menus, highchairs and any baby-food facilities on the day.
Dining plans
Alton Towers advertises multiple short-break dining plans, but participating outlets and exclusions depend on the plan and dates. Add a plan during qualifying short-break booking and read the inclusions before paying.
QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU GO
Food & drink questions
Can I eat at Rollercoaster Restaurant without a park ticket?
During theme park opening hours you need valid park admission to reach the restaurant. Outside park hours, the restaurant says evening guests can access it without a theme park ticket; dinner booking is recommended or required according to the current session.
Do I need to book hotel restaurants?
Advance booking is strongly recommended for hotel breakfast and evening meals. The resort advises booking breakfast at the hotel where you're staying where applicable.
Do all outlets open every day?
No. Some kiosks, food counters and bars open seasonally or have variable hours. Use the resort’s current signs and information during your visit.
Are there vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices?
Many main restaurants advertise special-diet options, but individual dishes and ingredients change. Speak directly with the outlet about current allergens, suitability and cross-contamination risk before ordering.
Can I bring my own food?
The theme park has picnic and eating areas, but the Waterpark normally does not allow outside food, with exceptions for allergies or specific dietary requirements. Check the current resort rules for any special needs.
