Plan your Alton Towers visit with live ride wait times and practical queue advice. Posted waiting times can change quickly, and rides may temporarily close or reopen during the day.
Current waits and ride status
Our queue-times board shows available ride data, including whether attractions are reported open and the latest posted wait. Always check the time of the last update; availability is not guaranteed.
How to avoid the longest queues
- Check ride status when you arrive and before crossing the park.
- Consider popular attractions early in the day or later before closing.
- Allow extra time for major attractions on weekends and school holidays.
- Use our individual ride guides to check height restrictions and locations.
Where a feed cannot be reached, don't assume a ride is operating or a listed wait is current.
